Kewaunee Riverview Transfer Station - Residential Services

The Kewaunee Riverview Transfer Station residential services provide a long-term solution to the area residents recycling and solid waste management needs.

For a small charge, the Kewaunee Transfer Station accepts garbage, used oil & filters, Yard Waste, appliances, tires, tvs, fluorescent light bulbs, paint, building debris, clean wood, clean sheet rock, shingles, mattresses, concrete, bricks, metal, cardboard, carpet and many other items.

Residential Use Hours:

Mondays through Fridays: 8 AM to 3 PM
Saturdays, April 01 to Sept 31st: 8 AM to noon
Saturdays, October 1 to March 31st: 8 AM to noon first & third Saturdays only

• No Pet Food Bags
• No Tissue
• No Gift Wrap

Recycling Guidelines
• Cut boxes to no larger than 2’ x 2’
• Shred paper in paper bag,
• Secure & label

We Accept As Recycling
All Plastic Bottles, Cups & Containers:
• Soda, Water & Other Drink Bottles
• Dairy Containers & Lids
• Food & Household Bottles
• Jars & Jugs
• Produce, Bakery & Deli Containers

We Do Not Accept As Recycling
• No Plastic Bags, Wrap or Film
• No Motor Oil Bottles
• No Styrofoam

• Empty, rinse and discard caps & lids

Metal & Glass

• Aluminum Bottles & Cans
• Empty Aerosol Cans
• Food & Drink Glass Bottles & Jars
• Steel, Tin & Bi-metal Cans
